How It Works
Non-Contact Ultrasound Therapy
UltraMIST® uses low-frequency (40 kHz) acoustic wave therapy delivered through a fine saline mist. The ultrasound energy reaches the wound bed without direct contact, making it painless and reducing the risk of cross-contamination.
The therapy promotes wound healing by reducing inflammation, eliminating harmful bacteria from the wound bed, and stimulating angiogenesis — the formation of new blood vessels that deliver oxygen and nutrients to the healing tissue. It also enhances blood flow through vasodilation, accelerating the overall healing process.
